I got my first speeding ticket today.
I am in shock. I thought I’d go through life without ever getting one, like with detention.
I was on my way to work, on a road that quickly goes from 25mph to 40 mph.
Guess which part I was in?
My ticket: 34 mph in a 25. -M

My Journey with Byron Mutum
If you've ever called Verizon Customer Service and have had to wait on the phone for an hour to get to someone who then transfers you to someone else and then have to wait for another twenty minutes and then repeat until, finally, you either lose the call or get your problem resolved with a process that takes four minutes, making four minutes of the two hours you just spent on the phone actually working toward fixing your issue, you'd know that it sucks. However, Verizon online chat has always been super helpful to me. Surprisingly so. We've been having issues with the multi-room DVR streaming in our bedroom, so I contacted Verizon online chat support and I spoke to Byron Mutum. Gotta say, he was great.
Mutum: I see that you are contacting us since,
1) Picture quality of a show of your DVR box is not good when you watch on other set top box via multi room DVR function
2) Guide is not working, am I correct?
Anton: Both are correct, yes.
Anton: I just completed the Auto-fix and it did not resolve the issue.
Mutum: Oh! I see.
Mutum: But not to worry, you have reached me.
Mutum: I will try my best to bring up a big smile on your face by the end of our session.
...we then spend time troubleshooting and fixing...
Mutum: Mr. Djamoos, please do me a favor here.
Mutum: Please unplug the coax cable (the cable that connects in between the set top box and the wall jack) at wall jack's end and then reconnect after 10-15 seconds.
Anton: sure, doing it now
Mutum: Thank you so much Sir.
Anton: ok, back
Mutum: Perfect.
Mutum: Please turn on the box now.
Anton: It all seems fixed now, thanks!
Anton: no issues anymore
Anton: big smile
Mutum: Hooray!!!
Mutum: We made it.
Mutum: What about the picture quality Sir?
Anton: It was quite a journey, but we perservered. You rock.
Mutum: My pleasure Sir.
Anton: Picture quality is outstanding

Recommendation of the Day
I really like peanut butter. I started trying some all natural peanut butters last year. I’ve had some stinkers that have this layer of oil and peanut on top that needs to be stirred and it is just all around complicated and pretty gross looking and Anton wanted nothing to do with it. And now, I am happy to say I’ve found the WINNER.
